    Good point all accurate information as far as machine tools go. Pins for example .385-,.3850,385+ then .3855-, .3855, .3855+, and .386-

    That will tell you where you're at. Or bore mics, intra mics whichever you call them, will also term you exactly what size your cylinder is, ya know... +/-.00005

    Calipers change with the weather... +/-.002 is the norm... when new. Some used ones have a good .005 gsp when closed.
