A collection of posts often on colt E- and I-frame revolvers: pythons, model 357s, officer model specials, etc. Topics not limited to: action jobs, fixing Bubba-gone-wrong gunsmith mistakes, and revolver porn. And sometimes I'll wander off the reservation and type random nouns and verbs that have nothing to do with our sole purpose, because who the hell can really pay attention that long?

Finally got a real safe

5,000lbs, TL-30 rating. It was a used one from a bankrupt jeweler. Seeing those guys put it in was impressive. Huge crane, then methodically lowering it by half
inch increments in a way that made it difficult to do a mistake.

Will be a long time before it's full, but nice not to worry about things. Still, the guy also had a "lightweight" bank vault that I'm still lusting after: 12,000 pounds, TL-30 rated, 14ft L x 9ft H x 9ft W!

This one already came with one Safe Queen included, so was hard to pass on.
