A collection of posts often on colt E- and I-frame revolvers: pythons, model 357s, officer model specials, etc. Topics not limited to: action jobs, fixing Bubba-gone-wrong gunsmith mistakes, and revolver porn. And sometimes I'll wander off the reservation and type random nouns and verbs that have nothing to do with our sole purpose, because who the hell can really pay attention that long?

My FFL says I have a problem...

The bounty from a recent visit. My FFL expressed some concerns :)

A couple of them are amazing. Of the five OMSes one has just a stunning action, on par with some of the best action jobs I've felt on a python. Another is an unbelievable 1957 python in pristine condition.

I'll take some internal photos of the OMS; very curious what was done to it.

For those of you who like pythons but haven't handled an OMS (officers model special) I'd strongly strongly urge you fix that tragedy. They have the same heavy feel of quality. Really nice craftsmanship.

No guarantees you wouldn't get swapped for primers, though... :)
